On December 14, 2024, millions of Americans came together for National Wreaths Across America Day to honor the men and women who served our country.
More than three million sponsored veterans’ wreaths were placed at 4,909 locations nationwide, as volunteers gathered in cemeteries and memorial sites across the country to remember our nation’s heroes.
At Arlington National Cemetery alone, over 32,000 volunteers placed more than 260,000 wreaths, including many children who participated in the meaningful tradition of saying each veteran’s name aloud.
“Each wreath represents a life remembered and a legacy honored,” said Karen Worcester, Executive Director of Wreaths Across America. “By speaking a veteran’s name aloud, we ensure their memory lives on.”
The event continues to unite communities through the organization’s year-round mission to Remember, Honor, Teach.
Wreaths Across America extends heartfelt thanks to every volunteer, supporter, transportation partner, and local coordinator who helped make this year’s event possible.
The next National Wreaths Across America Day will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
