Our Mission
Our mission is Remember, Honor, Teach.
Everything we do supports one or more of our core values:
- Remember the fallen.
- Honor those who serve and their families.
- Teach future generations about the sacrifices made to preserve our freedoms.
Wreaths Across America carries out this mission by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies each December at Arlington National Cemetery and participating veterans’ cemeteries in all 50 states and beyond. The organization also coordinates additional events throughout the year, including statehouse ceremonies, international veterans’ tributes, and the annual Escort to Arlington.
As a nonprofit organization that receives no government funding, our mission is made possible through the generosity of individual wreath sponsors, corporate donors, volunteer trucking partners, and thousands of dedicated volunteers.
Throughout the year, Wreaths Across America also supports veterans and communities through recognition programs, educational resources, and outreach initiatives.
Brand Values
Wreaths Across America recognizes the deep sense of patriotism, appreciation for our military, and commitment to honoring veterans shared by our volunteers and supporters.
Our volunteers are at the heart of our organization. We are committed to providing the guidance, resources, and support they need while maintaining a strong and consistent Wreaths Across America brand.
Master Logo
The Wreaths Across America Master Logo is the organization’s primary visual identity and should be used whenever possible.
The logo features three wreath-adorned headstones representing our mission to Remember, Honor, Teach, creating an immediate visual connection to our purpose.
To protect the integrity of the Wreaths Across America brand:
- Do not alter, distort, recreate, translate, or modify the logo.
- Use the full-color Master Logo whenever possible.
- When color, size, or production limitations prevent its use, select an approved logo variation described in the Style Guide.
Master Logo for Dark Backgrounds
When placing the logo on a dark background, use the approved Master Logo with White Text.
PNG and EPS versions with a transparent background are available in the downloadable logo package and are designed specifically for use on dark-colored backgrounds.
Logo Variations
Approved logo variations are available when design or production requirements make the standard Master Logo impractical.
For example, a horizontal logo may be used when vertical space is limited.
Available variations include:
- Centered Horizontal Logo
- Horizontal Logo
- One-Color Logo
DO:
- Use the full-color Master Logo whenever possible.
- Use approved logo variations only when required by layout or production constraints.
- Use the Centered Horizontal Logo only when it can be centered within the design.
- Use the standard Horizontal Logo when a centered layout is not appropriate.
DO NOT:
- Do not use only the Wreaths Across America wordmark (logotype) unless the complete Master Logo also appears prominently within the same design.
- Do not place the logo over busy or multi-colored backgrounds that reduce readability.
- Do not alter, stretch, recolor, rotate, or otherwise modify any approved logo.
