Accessibility Information for the Mobile Education Exhibit (MEE)

The Mobile Education Exhibit (MEE) is designed to provide an accessible and welcoming experience for all visitors, including individuals with disabilities.

Lift Accessibility

The exhibit is equipped with a lift platform to assist visitors who use wheelchairs, scooters, and other mobility devices. While there is no posted weight limit for the lift, it is used twice daily to transport a heavy commemorative stone in and out of the exhibit, demonstrating its ability to handle substantial weight safely.

The lift platform measures:

  • 45 inches long
  • 34 inches wide

We have successfully accommodated a wide variety of mobility devices, including large electric wheelchairs, without issue. Additionally, we have safely assisted individuals weighing up to 300 pounds, giving us confidence in our ability to meet the accessibility needs of our visitors.

Our Commitment

We are committed to ensuring that every guest can comfortably experience the Mobile Education Exhibit. If you have specific accessibility needs, questions, or concerns before your visit, please reach out to us.

Your comfort, safety, and satisfaction are our top priorities, and we are always happy to assist.
