American Unity on Display During National Wreaths Across America Day

On December 14, 2024, over three million sponsored veterans’ wreaths were placed at 4,909 locations nationwide during National Wreaths Across America Day. This annual event honors U.S. veterans through community participation and remembrance. At Arlington National Cemetery alone, more than 260,000 wreaths were placed by over 32,000 volunteers, including many children.

Karen Worcester, Executive Director of Wreaths Across America, emphasized the power of the wreaths to unite communities and preserve the memory of those who served. Volunteers are encouraged to say each veteran’s name aloud, making the tribute deeply personal and lasting.

The organization extends its gratitude to all who contribute to the mission: Remember, Honor, Teach. The next National Wreaths Across America Day will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
