The 2023 Wreaths Across America program was another remarkable year of honoring our nation’s veterans through the support of volunteers, sponsors, and transportation partners across the country.
National Impact
- More than 3 million veterans’ wreaths were placed at 4,224 participating locations nationwide.
- Over 3 million volunteers were involved in wreath-laying ceremonies and related activities.
- Approximately one-third of all volunteers were children, helping to carry forward the mission to Remember, Honor, and Teach.
Arlington National Cemetery
At Arlington National Cemetery, Wreaths Across America achieved another milestone:
- 68 tractor-trailers delivered veterans’ wreaths to the cemetery.
- More than 259,000 veterans’ wreaths were placed.
- Over 35,000 volunteers participated in the wreath placement effort.
Transportation Network
The success of National Wreaths Across America Day is made possible through the dedication of volunteer transportation partners across the country.
- 717 loads of wreaths were delivered nationwide.
- Hundreds of volunteer professional truck drivers donated their time and expertise.
- Approximately 332 transportation partners generously provided equipment and fuel.
