Wreaths Across America (WAA) is much more than a single day of wreath placement each December. It is a year-round mission dedicated to remembering our nation’s fallen heroes, honoring those who serve, and teaching future generations the value of freedom.
Every $17 wreath sponsorship helps support impactful programs and initiatives across the country, including:
- TEACH Program – Providing free educational resources and service projects that help teach the next generation the value of freedom.
- Mobile Education Exhibit – Bringing our traveling exhibit and “Welcome Home” experience to communities nationwide to honor Vietnam veterans and educate the public.
- National Museum, Store & Gold Star Family House – Our museum in Columbia Falls, Maine, preserves stories of service and sacrifice.
- Veteran Outreach Partnerships – Connecting veterans and families with valuable resources and support through our Organization Partners.
- Wreaths Across America Radio – A 24/7 voice for veterans through music, interviews, storytelling, and educational programming.
- Remembrance Tree Program – Offering meaningful opportunities to honor and remember loved ones.
- Group Sponsorship Program – Supporting local nonprofits, schools, and civic groups, with more than $32 million returned to participating organizations since 2007.
- Participating Locations – Creating opportunities for volunteers to get involved at more than 5,500 participating locations in all 50 states and abroad.
What makes WAA truly unique is the connection it fosters between communities, veterans, families, and future generations through simple acts of remembrance that inspire meaningful, year-round impact.
