Does WAA place flags on the 4th of July and Memorial Day?

Modified on Fri, 29 May at 10:46 AM

Wreaths Across America (WAA) does not place flags on Memorial Day or the 4th of July.

While our nationally recognized wreath-laying ceremonies take place each December, our mission to Remember, Honor, Teach continues throughout the entire year. WAA remains committed to honoring veterans and military families through year-round programs, educational outreach, and community engagement efforts.

Some of our ongoing programs and initiatives include:

The Veterans Remembrance Tree Program

  • The WAA Museum and Store in Columbia Falls, Maine
  • Veteran outreach and appreciation campaigns, such as the I OWE You cards
  • Educational programs that teach younger generations about the value of freedom and the sacrifices made by our nation’s service members
  • The WAA Mobile Education Exhibit
