How Do I Go About Getting a Wreath Placed for a Loved One?

Modified on Thu, 4 Jun at 11:42 AM

Wreaths Across America strives to honor every veteran remembered through our program. While our goal is to accept grave-specific wreath requests at all participating locations, not every location can offer this option.

Many of our dedicated volunteers step forward to fulfill grave-specific placement requests when they are able. If the location you are interested in indicates that grave-specific requests are not accepted and you are unable to place the wreath yourself on National Wreaths Across America Day, please contact us. We can review your request and determine what options are available.

Important Information

  • Grave-specific placement requests are subject to the policies and capabilities of each participating location.
  • Availability may vary based on volunteer resources and cemetery guidelines.
  • Requests cannot always be guaranteed, but we will do our best to assist whenever possible.

Alternative Sponsorship Options

If your goal is to honor or remember a loved one, we also offer:

  • In Memory of Sponsorships – Sponsor a wreath in memory of someone special.
  • In Honor of Sponsorships – Sponsor a wreath in honor of a living veteran, service member, or loved one.

Please note that these sponsorship options are separate from grave-specific placement requests and do not guarantee placement on a particular gravesite.
